Limited Warranty for Video Surveillance Products

Panasonic System Communications Company of North America (“Panasonic”) will, at its sole option, repair or exchange the Panasonic Video Surveillance Product with a new or a comparable refurbished product, free of charge, in the United States from the date of original purchase and for a period specified below, in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship, as follows:

Notes:
1 - WV- Series cameras manufactured in November 2014 or later (Serial number beginning with "NK") are eligible for the "Preferred Warranty" which adds two (2) additional years to the standard three (3) year warranty, Priority Advanced Exchange, and an available Video Insight camera license.
2 - GXE Series Encoders are eligible for an available Video Insight Camera License
3 - Fans, motors, slip rings and lens assemblies are warrantied for three (3) years

Limited Product Warranty:

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. If you ship the product, carefully pack it and send it prepaid, adequately insured and preferably in its original carton. Attach a postage paid letter, detailing your complaint, to the outside of the carton.

This warranty covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship which occur during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or failures which are caused by products not supplied by Panasonic or failures which result from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, faulty installation, maladjustment of user controls, improper maintenance, modification or service by anyone other than an Authorized Panasonic Security Systems/Vision Systems Service Center, or damage that is attributable to acts of God.

Limited Warranty - Software:

The Panasonic Video Surveillance Product may be provided with a software application ("Software"). Panasonic warrants to you only that the CD disk(s) or other media on which the Software is furnished will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of delivery thereof to you, as evidenced by your purchase receipt.

This is the only warranty Panasonic makes to you with respect to the Software. Panasonic does not warrant that the functions contained in the Programs will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Programs will be uninterrupted or error free. Panasonic shall have no obligation for any defects in the CD disk(s) or other media on which the Programs are furnished resulting from your storage thereof, or for defects that have been caused by operation of the CD disk(s) or other media.

Panasonic's entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement, in the United States or other Panasonic designated location, of any defective CD disk or other media which is returned to Panasonic's Authorized Service Center, together with a copy of the purchase receipt, within the aforesaid warranty period.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:

There are no express warranties except as listed above.

PANASONIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR THE SOFTWARE, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or liability for incidental or con- sequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

If a problem with your equipment develops during the warranty period, first contact your Panasonic dealer or Panasonic Service center. If the problem is not handled to your satisfaction, then write to the Panasonic National Service Manager at Panasonic System Communications Company of North America, Two Riverfront Plaza, Newark, New Jersey 07102-5490.

About the limited warranty:

In case of coming with a warranty of several types, each of warranty only applies to products purchased in the area that are described in the express warranty statements respectively.
