The outdoor dome camera housing shall be a Panasonic Model POSM5V or equivalent. The indoor model shall be a Panasonic Model PISM5V or equivalent. The housing shall be designed to fully support the WV-NS202A, WV-NS302, WV-NF284, WV-CF294, WV-SC385 and the BB-HCM403/580/581 camera models. The Panasonic Model POSM5V shall also be equipped with 24VAC input blower and thermostatically controlled heater. The PISM5V does not include any electronics, and 12VDC or POE camera power must be supplied to the housing. The upper dome housing shall be manufactured from a high-impact engineered thermoplastic polycarbonate with a UL flame rating of 94-V0. The dome shall be made of an injection molded, optically clear thermoplastic polycarbonate. The dome shall be held in place with a minimum of three (3) fasteners and a safety cable shall be provided to hold the dome while servicing. Access to the enclosure shall be from below with three (3) captive fasteners used to press the dome against a sealing O-ring. The wiring enters through the top of the housing or through a .875” (for ½” conduit) opening on the side of the housing. The engineered thermoplastic top, with its reflective white paint, insulates internal equipment. On the Panasonic POSM5V models the integrated heater/blower shall be a progressive power model and shall draw 40W maximum power. The heater shall turn on at 60°F (15°C) and turn off at 80°F (27°C). The housing shall support a temperature range of -40°F (-40°C) to 122°F (50°C).
