Multi-station feature

Our Multi-Station Assembly Qualify provides expansion to operate across 4 work stations with the ability to connect up to 16 tools and manage 4 tools operating simultaneously. Allows for ease and flexibility in setting up Panasonic radio tools, avoiding configuration and maintenance of separate qualifier units for each station.

Simple tool connection with auto learn

Connecting a wireless tool to the qualifier is simple with the auto learn feature. By pressing the "LEARN" button, the qualifier scans the area for a new tool. Once a new tool is found, the qualifier automatically creates a secure link between the tool and qualifier. The qualifier automatically creates a basic setup program allowing for immediate use of the tool.

Error proofing | Poka-yoke

Reduce the number of defects by incorporating the assembly qualifier (AQ) and enjoy that next level of security through advanced error proofing. AQ's error proofing capabilities include:

• OK/NOK results

• Visual and audio feedback

• Tool sequencing

• Rehit prevention

• Batch count

• Remote I/O (PLC)

• Data collection

Assure product quality with proof

Part traceability plays an important role in assuring your customers with documentation about your assembly process. Panasonic AQ provides multiple options for data collection. The torque data sent by the tool to the controller can be married with the serial number, captured by a PLC or bar code Scanner, and stored for future retrieval or sent to a server. Stores up to 10,000 rundowns which can be downloaded to a USB stick.

Assembly qualifier programming software

Assembly Manager is the user-friendly software used for programming Multi Tool Assembly Qualifiers using direct or remote connections. The software opens to the live status page showing the current AQ display and quick links for basic programming of Panasonic wireless tools. Quickly create, backup or restore controller settings within seconds of connecting to an AQ controller.

Secure tool communication

The AQ uses Xbee, a form of Zigbee®, to communicate wirelessly with Panasonic assembly tools and provides an interference-free network. Due to the frequency that Xbee uses, no other wireless devices are affected by this signal.

Operator visual indicator

Reduce the overall assembly process time with an operator visual for OK/NOK and batch complete status. The highly visible display can be seen over 20' away. The adjustable audible tone registers up to 85db to notify the operator of a pass or failed fastener. This visual and audio feedback helps the operator know whether to move on to the next fastener or stop and rework the product.

Batch counting

Benefit from the batch count feature when fastening multiple screws. Simply connect the controller directly to a line stop or a PLC to prevent defects from moving down the assembly line.
